Honomu

Most people rush in and rush out of this spot. You can walk the asphalt-paved path with vistas of two dramatic, very tall waterfalls in 20 minutes, but you'd be missing a lot. Take a few minutes to see how different the flora is from back home, and you'll start to see all the different birds and even some mammals hiding in the brush. A fairly easy walk for kids, but with several stairs, a little challenging for those who have trouble walking. Stop for a spell at the bakery in Honomu on your way back to the main road.
